XV International AIDS Conference

"Access for all" is the theme of the XV International AIDS Conference, that is taking place from 11-16 July 2004 in Bangkok, Thailand. The conference will focus on improved access to HIV-related prevention, treatment and resources, particularly among women and youth. With an estimated 15,000 delegates from 160 countries expected to attend the Conference it is geared up to be the largest ever AIDS meeting. The conference is organised by the International AIDS Society (IAS) and the Thai Ministry of Public Health as the local Host. The co-organisers of the conference are UNAIDS, three international community networks: ICW, ICASO, GNP+ and TNCA, a conglomerate of Thai AIDS NGOs.
