The Forty-seventh Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) will be held in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, during April 3th - 5th, 2006. As in the past, the Bank and the host country are organizing a series of seminars on topics of interest to participants. This year, the meeting concentrates a special interest to civil society and to several governments that will send their representatives into the Governors Assembly: the debt cancelation of the poorest Latin American countries is on the Annual Meetings agenda.
