Wary of dissent, Tunisia makes war on the web
Despite country's relative openness, Internet postings landing some critics in jail. Tunisian security officials are making war on the Internet to prevent critics from using it to launch attacks on the government and Ben Ali, who has been in power for 18 years.

Civil Society Statement on the WSIS: "Much more could have been achieved"
This statement is presented as the Civil Society’s official contribution to the Summit outcomes. Civil society took a month after the closure of the Tunis Summit to discuss the outcomes and the process of WSIS, and evaluated the experiences and lessons learned in the four years of WSIS I and WSIS II.

Internet governance and WSIS: who won? In a certain way, the world has won
WSIS has not only made Internet governance issue widely known, but sparked a worldwide discussion on its need and implications. Also, WSIS has shown that there are multiple aspects of the Internet which require some form of coordination or governance and, what is more important, has contributed to raise public awareness on the importance of “digital inclusion”.
