Millennium +5 Summit - New York, September 2005

In September 2005, the United Nations will host a Millennium +5 Summit to evaluate the progress towards the United Nations Millennium Declaration adopted by over 150 Heads of State at the UN Millennium Summit in September 2000. Leaders also resolved to meet a number of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), which include halving the proportion of people living in poverty and hunger by 2015.
