Special High-level Meeting of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) with the Bretton Woods institutions, the World Trade Organization and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) on Monday, 18 April 2005 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. Following Monterrey, the spring meetings of ECOSOC have gained greater importance in the multilateral efforts to pursue development goals.
