Report on the event
The second round of Multi-Stakeholder Consultations on Systemic Issues took place to carry out the follow-up and explore alternative means of implementation of the provisions set forth in section F of the Monterrey Consensus. The purpose of this event was to hold an informal dialogue on issues related to financing for development and the fulfilment of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

Anti-poverty funds come with strings attached
The World Bank's soft loan arm, the International Development Association (IDA), will get a funding increase of 34 billion dollars from rich nations over the coming three years, the largest increase in two years.
