EarthRights International (ERI) combines the power of law and the power of people in defense of human rights and the environment. It specializes in fact-finding, legal actions against perpetrators of earth rights abuses, training for grassroots and community leaders and advocacy campaigns.
EarthAction
EarthAction’s strategy is to create a global action alert network made up of individuals, groups and legislators who are prepared to act together on global problems. The EarthAction network includes more than 1,900 citizen groups in 161 countries, two thirds of them in developing countries, together with hundreds of legislators and thousands of individual citizens.

Climate change: ambition missing at upcoming UN talks
On 1-12 December 2008, the Polish city of Poznan will host crucial United Nations climate talks. The UN reported this week that greenhouse gas emissions in industrialised countries continue to rise, exposing their lack of ambition to seriously address the climate threat.
