Among others events: "Critically engaging with the principles underlying the World Social Forum"
Dear Friends of the CACIM community in Belem ,

For further details on each event (including the list of speakers as to date), the finalised versions of the discussion notes are now up there on our site (http://cacim.net/twiki/tiki-index.php?page=CACIMatBelem), so please take the time to have a look at those. Of course we also invite you to pass this on to people you think who might be interested in knowing about the event as well as to bring along your friends.
Finally, we from CACIM are trying to find and fix a nice, relatively inexpensive café somewhere near the Forum site for the duration of the Forum where people – our invitees, associates, and friends, coming in from various parts of the world, plus their friends, as well as our team members and so on – can meet every evening, as and when convenient for them. Since the last session finishes at 18:30, this means from 18:30 to say 21:30, and people are free to just drop in when they can. (We did this not only in Porto Alegre in 2005, but then again more recently at the European Social Forum in Malmö, Sweden, and it worked very well both times as a place for socialising as well as sharing experiences, information, etc and for discussion.) This is the social and fun part of a WSF ! We will let you know once we’ve found a suitable place. If you have any good ideas regarding that, please share them with us.
We will get in touch with you again nearer the time, provided we have your contact details, so please don’t forget this.
Many thanks and greetings from India,
CACIM
